Humans and their relationships between one another play a fundamental role in the course of construction projects, from initiation to its finalisation humans will always be found in the construction process. It’s no news that today construction companies in their projects and businesses are facing many problems from day-to-day activities to even more seasonal endeavours. Human relations; the way workers relate are one of the problems that has been taken into consideration in this study. Humans are a resource, and managing their relationships is key to project success. The construction industry's management of human resources and relations is weak and insufficient, while requiring more people than other industries. To ensure the success of a sustainable development project, human relations difficulties during construction must be identified and addressed. The factors contributing to poor of human relation practices and management in the construction of a construction project have been identified. There were inadequate facilities, lack of trust in employees, corrupt and unethical practice, pandemic outbreak amongst others. The main methods for improvement have also been discovered; namely, more education of workers on importance of teamwork, education of stakeholders on the importance of human relations, and provision of adequate facilities.
